Our Mission

Walking towards the future

Our goal: to engineer world-class legged robotic systems. To achieve this, we are solving the hardest engineering challenges first, adhering to a strict development roadmap:

Core Actuation: We engineer our own robotic actuators in-house, giving us total control over the torque and efficiency required for dynamic movement.
Intelligent Navigation: We use our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) as a testbed for advanced SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and navigation stacks, ensuring our software is mature before it is integrated into legged systems.
Indigenous Manufacturing: We are committed to the "Make in India" initiative. We do not just assemble; we design, engineer, and manufacture our robots domestically to global standards.

Santhosh Ravichandran

Founder

Santhosh is an accomplished robotics engineer with a decade of specialized experience in underwater robotics.

He holds a Master of Science (by research) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, where he worked with Prof. Prabhu Rajagopal on bio-inspired underwater robotics, focusing specifically on efficient propulsion mechanisms and dynamics. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai.

His tenure with IIT Madras and Planys Technologies has resulted in ten granted patents, numerous awards at research competitions, and publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. Outside of his research and engineering work, Santhosh loves mechanical watches and enjoys going on long rides.

Keerthika Vijayakumar

Founder

A lawyer by education, she pursued her legal studies at the School of Excellence in Law, Chennai.

She possesses deep expertise in trademark filing and contract analysis, honed over several years of legal practice. Additionally, she brings extensive experience from her tenure working with multinational corporations as a Product Manager.

At Mach & Ros, Keerthika leverages this unique combination of legal precision and strategic product leadership to drive the firm's growth. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling to new places and is an ardent animal lover.
